Fun at Newcastle!
July 30, 2007, 1.38am. I just reached home from Newcastle. Finally I have been to Newcastle, visited the uni and of course met up with Jocelyn. The place was totally different. As in the way I expected it to be.
Well actually I reached Newcastle today at 12pm. Jo said that she would come around that time to pick me up but when I was there, there was
NO PEOPLE. Just imagine, no people left and you are left out all alone, out in the arable land. At first I thought that I am surely dead, walked to the right side of the bridge and saw the sign ‘University of Newcastle’. Hmm, “It does not look like a uni to me, ohh well I guess I shall go back to the train stop and wait”. Sat down there open my pc, “
HOPING TO GET ONLINE”. But
NO CONNECTION. Waited 1 min, 2 min, 3min, 4 min and the 5th minute!! Some1 stood at the back of my pc, there was like a reflection of a girl. Then only I knew that it was her. It was Jocelyn!! A great relief for me. I was not LOST after all. She and her friend then brought me to walk at the uni. Very very big place indeed. And of course
BUSHY. It looks like a jungle thou.. seriously it did not look like a uni to me at first. It was more to like a environmental friendly place or should I call it the wildlife park. Hahahahah.
But it was a nice place to live indeed. Very peaceful and quite uni. (Oh well, it’s a Sunday after all) Went around the campus and a few little things did caught my attention.
No.1 – The engineering school had a building, which looks like a container.
No.2 – The architecture school had 1 building with a door to the exit but the door is from the
2ND FLOOR (Jump down to exit?)
No.3 – Big pieces of steel crafted cards such as Ace of spade, club, diamond and heart.
Seriously it was nice, cute and funny in their own ways.
Well next we took a bus to Jesmond and
YUM CHA there. Hahahahha authentic Chinese dim sum. It was a nice meal though, I guess I was too hungry. Then we went to buy mandarins. Is there really a difference between an “
ORANGE” and “
MANDARIN” It’s still orange to me or maybe I am just a bummer +).
Soon, we took another bus to Nobbys Beach. Nice place indeed, it was cold though but there were still some people surfing there. Walked to the lighthouse together and the scenery was just excellent. Talked a lot together though. Kinda windy but managed to adapt to it. Overall it was sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet and beautiful.
Went back to house and dinner was funny. Ahahhahahah (If you’re seeing this don’t get angry but smile =)) 2 dishes , chicken and vege. Chicken was alright and nice but vege was extra spicy and
FUNNY TASTE. (but I finished all the rice and vege) hahahahahahahhahahahah
Well, went back home by train and I missed the train, bus and had to take a taxi back home and finally ending this blog @ 2.09am. Good night guys, uni tutorials starting tomorrow :)

At Uni
Great day today. Good weather and had a nice breakfast. Today class started at 3pm. Funny right guys? Well that’s uni. Hmm nothing much quite happened to me today. Well at least I am proud to say I am enrolled for all my courses. No more worries for me now.. just left sports club and buying books then I guess I will be on my track. Well till then ;)

First Day in Uni!!
It’s the first day of Uni!!! TimeTable not really done yet.. having some problems enrolling myself into ENGG1000. They said this course is full and they are trying their best they could to slot me in. I am actually not really pleased listening to them coz u know office work normally says “Submit in the form and we will process it as soon as we possible can” and they you know the process will take days, infact they can do it within just less than 10 mins. But there is still nothing I can do, all I can do is just to pray and hope for the best..
Well, the uni is freaking big! And I mean BIG. To get all my documentations done, I have to go to 1 school to another school and another 1. And the walking distance to each school roughly takes 5mins.. 5mins guys!! Imagine the distance. =( sooner or later with this rate, I think I am going to gain mileage and get rusty. Well but that’s life, it does not always goes the way you want it. Just have to get use to it.
Didn’t had the opportunity to know any friends yet, all the while I only stick with Heman. I guess I am going to turn gay, just joking =p well, my couz told me I will sooner or later know friends in tutorial classes, that’s only when the real thrill and fun. I guess I can just say “I can’t wait till that day”
But seriously saying the work is hardcore, all the stuff related to math have integration and as an ICPU student, all the math that we studied did not touch the integral. So for you guys ICPU reading my post, make sure you are prepared to grind yourself with integral because it is assumed knowledge here!

First Day in Sydney, Australia!
Finally I reach Sydney!!! Its freaking cold here!! Well my plane touched down at 8pm, immigrations and custom checks blab la
bla.. Came out around 10++.. Lucky thing my cousins came and pick me up. Went home at first, rest a while and off we went to yum
cha ; Regal Restaurant. Gosh, the ‘dim sum’ here is awesome man! It is better than Malaysia. The prawns are bigger, ‘
siew mai’ bigger; well basically everything is big. After brunch, my
couz brought me around to shop. Saw several phone companies here ;
Vodafone, Three and Yes
Optus. Well I don’t really bother which 1 I join, in fact I am just targeting a nice phone. W880i!! It is like $50 per month and I already own the phone. How cool is that right, friends from Malaysia?
Hahahaha, do not envy just come over here and you will be getting it too. Eventually shops here close at 5pm, so there is nothing much left to do. Well till then guys, see

Last Day in Malaysia
Well today it is my last day here in Malaysia.. i am going to fly in a few hours time.. well i guess i will be missing a lot of things especially my "FRIENDS!" , "SOUL BROTHER" and of coz the food!! all those crazy little things we did when we hang out or even ride together... Enjoying mamak stall gossiping about ppl and talking abt dreams and visions... Staying up late night playing games and chatting online.. going out anytime i like without anyone's permission..
GOSH I MISS SO MANY THINGS!! can you just imagine? i am leaving this good place to a place few thousand kilometers south just for studies... well for all those who have high hopes on me.. i appreciate it deep deep and i hope i wont disappoint you guys!.. well i going to fly in a few hours time.. wish me good luck till then!
