Taronga Zoo! (12/7/2008)

Well i should start of this off with firstly thanking Heman for waking up so late yesterday that he caused the whole plan to be brought forward today. Yesterday was pretty good actually, a good day indeed to go to the zoo, but he knew that we would be calling him to wake up; silent his phone and dozed off nearly for the whole morning. Windy and Koki prepared the pasta and everything for lunch was used to picnic in Botanical Garden. What can i say? It went pretty good i guess, and it was the first time i went picnic!!

Back to the main topic today! Woke up early like as in 9am, already 'penuh semangat' planning to go to the zoo early. Was a little late eventually but still can make it. Me and Windy was the last to leave the house and guess what. We went to the lift and it got stucked!!

The case was like this, as me and her entered the lift, i kept on disturbing Windy, coz she has been ignoring what i am saying... (her expressions was bla bla bla) and then i kept on imitating the way she said, "am i cute, am i cute?" while actually jumping 'lightly' in the lift. and "KEEEEETOOOONGG!" the lift got stucked.. Windy screamed (i'll explain more later) and i was like "what the heck?"

Well the thing that i wanted to explain was at that time when we were in the lift together. After the lift stucked and Windy screamed. Of coz i assumed that she was scared and then she scream, that is still normal but then she said that she screamed because her leg was pain well i basically think that she says that coz she wants face. Well i guess i was wrong, her leg was pain afterall. Sorry Windy!

First time, i got stucked in the lift!! Firstly i thought it was some kind of joke and hoping that minutes later the lift will operate normally. But it didnt!! I started shouting Heeeellppp! Called the lift emergency and the operator said that they will send someone immediately to check on the lift. Press the lift bell and no response.. Sigh, i was thinking, "I am going to be dead" , "I am stucked in the lift, heeeelllp!"

Stranded inside for nearly 20 minutes and then came 1 guy talking to us saying "Are you stucked in the lift?" I said yes. He teached me to open the lift manually and eventually we came out. We were actually trapped in between 9th and 8th floor. But really, i thanked God for sending someone to help us out.

Walked downstairs and off we went to Circular Quay; boarding the ferry to Taronga Zoo. As i was explaining what happened to Heman, Koki and Sin saying that Windy screamed because she was scared. She said it was wrong and it was not like that. It was because the sudden jerk caused her right leg pain. (I get it, she needs some pride afterall) hahahahahaha...

Went to zoo and explored around. Pretty good actually. I have been always wanting to go to Taronga Zoo ever since i was a kid because the last time me and my parents came to Sydney. We joined a ferry cruising around darling harbour and passed by the zoo but we did not stopped. Ever since i told myself, i will be back visiting the zoo even without my parents here. My dream came true! Yay!!

Another purpose of me coming to visit the zoo is because last time my cousins used to say there is this very big vulture in a cage at the zoo and is very cool and a must to see!

Basically at that time i was young and i fantasize vulture to be very big just like in cartoons and i guess everything was just like in TV. (you guys will understand me coz i was small that time!)

It was pretty fun thou in the zoo. Saw panda's and played with kangaroos. Well let the picture talk for now ;)
