    A Dissapointed Day

Yesterday my friends and me joined a 3 on 3 basketball game at KLCC. We went there very early because we were afraid of the traffic. We went there aiming high to win something back home. I was the captain for my team. My team consist of 3 members and among them were Aaron, Boon Chuan and me. I can say that we were a balanced basketball team because each of us are good in certain aspects.

We waited till 9.30am until the gates were opened and all of us rushed in. There were really nice courts because it was indoor and besides that it is air-conditioned! There were about 20 mini basketball courts in the convention center. So i quickly got my team registered so we could get our jerseys and a free ball. While i was waiting for my turn i met some of my old friends and i was suprised because they were there too for the game.

Soon i quickly changed and listened to the short briefing. My team was in group S meaning that there were 4 teams in my group and only 2 teams will win to represent the group. We won 3 games in a row and we were overwhelmed with the great victory. At the meant time waiting for the management to reorganize the matches we went for lunch and came back exactly at 1pm. We then waited for our team name to be called again. We asked the service counter why aren't our team name called and they replied us in a rudely manner asking us to listen. I was like stunned for a moment because i just wanted to get some information clarified. We waited and waited very long and decided to ask again. This time they told us that our team walked over because we were not in the court when our team name was called. We were really very angry and we made complains. We then find the organizer and complained to him personally. He even throwed his tantrum on us saying that it was our fault and there is nothing that he could do.

We were really pissed off and walked off from the convention center with dissapointment. Because this could not make sense, it was like we win 3 games in a row. Why would we not be there in the court for the following game? All we could do is sigh because of the lousy organizer could not manage his team properly.

Comparing to the previous year, the Adidas Streetball Challenge was better then this Reebok 3 on 3. It was much more bigger and the crows was even bigger but from what i can see no one made a single complained. Besides that the prizez were even more attractive. We were really exhausted and all we could just say was bad luck.
