Campus Parking
In this modern era, students at college prefer to drive thier own car rather than thier parents fetching them. Among all the important facilites that a college should possess is a spacious carpark. Sometimes students prefer going to college where they can obtain a carpark easily without worrying much about security. Campus parking should be granted to students because it is pratical, students are paying for it as one of the facilty and to avoid less traffic.
Firstly campus parking in Taylor's College isn't practical because it isn't provided to students. I was very shocked to know that students aren't allowed to park in the college. This caused me to park somewhere near the college and it was very inconvenient. I was almost late for my first day because of this. After my classes when i was about to go home I noticed I had a summon on my car because I did not pay for the parking which I didn't know at all. I was very disapointed because I was sure to get a scolding from my parents if I had told them.
Carparks should be shared among teachers and students as a facility. Parking in the campus should emphasize on a first come first serve basis. This will cause students to be early in college because most students would definitely want to park in the campus. Parking privilliges should only be given to administrators and certain heads of departments. Guards must also do it's part that is identifying cars coming in to the campus is Taylor's student or teacher. All this effort is to ensure the security in the campus is provided for the parking facility.
Besides that, if i prefer comparing it. I would compare it with Sunway College. Sunway College has a very spacious carpark and in avoid less traffic. When i visited the college I expected all the colleges would be the same providing a spacious parking area for students. When I was in Sunway College, I had no problem finding a carpark. No matter anytime of the day carpark is guaranteed for everyone. Furthermore students in Sunway College actually make an attempt to reach college early just to look for a nice parking lot.
Therefore Taylor's College should do it's part by renting a wide parking area or even buy it. THis can be used as a facility to attract students to join Taylor's college. Everyone would be glad parking in the campus because security of the owner's car is ensured. It would not be a waste of time thinking this facility because it is very practical.
